    Lonely Virgil

I don't give a squirt about Wrestling but being a frequenter of cons, I know who Virgil is. He's that guy with the perpetually empty table who seems to be at every toy and comic show in creation.

Sam from the "Opie and Anthony" radio show seems to be obsessed with him and has even created a tumblr of memorable Virgil shots at various conventions, which i find fascinating:

    Lonely Virgil.

I met him in a casino bathroom once in AC

I did the NWO 4-Life and he acted like he was scared of me

Actually from reports I've heard, he's kind of a jerk.

I only ever rubbed elbows with him once in a toy show booth, he struck me as funny.

That is truly funny. It's not sad at all. He's a grown freakin man who cannot let go of the one thing he did in his life that defined him. Where others left for alternate careers or were able to remain in the industry way past their prime, Virgil is trying to make a living off his name signing autographs.

I have no sympathy at all. He made this choice and has to live with the results. We are all the sum of the choices we make in our lives.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I know what you're saying, but it's not like this dude ever made it big...can't blame him for trying to make a few bucks

You'd think he could split table costs with the Gobbledegooker or Bastion Booger. With this economy you have to spend wisely.

Every year at Chicago Comicon he is always hitting me up before the show for any of his action figures. Wants to pay minimal. Signs em and sells high. He is an ok guy, but the first couple of times we talked, he was a jerk.

I don't feel bad for the guy because for who he is he overexposes himself at these things. Anybody, in any corner of the world who wants actually wants his autograph has it. As a wrestling fan myself he also doesn't the the barrage of merch, past popularity or awareness among current fans to warrant all these appearances. The only wrestling personalities who can get away with over saturating themselves like that are the women because there are plenty of guys who who will always bite for at least a photo.

Yes he did. He might need to look into a lap band with all that pride swallowing he's been doing.
