Early 1970s Slingerland 5 piece drum set with Remo heads and Pearl cymbals. Nothing fancy but then again I am not that good either.

I do enjoy playing none the less. I also played the clarinet, piano, and guitar but loved the drums the most.

I don't play but work for a large music retailer. If you are looking for a specific recommendation and give me the specifics; I can ask our guitar merchandise expert. He knows just about everything there is to know about guitars/accessories and also plays guitar as well.
Thank you! That's a fantastic offer. I may take you up on that relatively soon.

Thanks for all the answers, ladies and gentlemen. Mostly just a curiosity on my part. I've noticed a lot of references on here by people to their old bands or old set lists. Random Axe being the most recent.

I've got a custom shop Fender Jazzmaster, and a Fender Vibrolux Reverb amp (2 x 10 - 40 watts). For pedals, I have an Xotic AC Overdrive, a Keely Fuzz Head, ZVEX Box of Rock and Box of Metal, a Doctor Scientist Tremolesence and a MXR Carbon Copy analog delay. I've been playing pretty much non stop for 20+ years and have been in plenty of crappy bands and 2 halfway decent ones.
The timing of your post is actually good for me. After looking for several years for some new folks to play some 70's style hard rock with, this past Thursday and Friday I met a drummer and a bass player and we're going to start jamming this week. Wish us luck....

                Enjoy! Sounds like a blast.

I have a mid 90's 5 piece TAMA rockstar drum set. Nothing fancy because I am not that good, but the bass drum is among the best I have heard.
