not bad, but remember that lcd's are going down in price since the led's popped up...try bestbuy first, I think they had a similar led slim one on sale this week, I can't remember the size though

I really can't find anything that is 47" 3d, with built in wifi for anything close to 750. But I'm still looking.

Dealnews.com shows both the Vizio @ WalMart & the Toshiba @ BBY. Same-ish size, same price...I'd go check out the pictures on both. When I was looking for a TV around XMas, I saw enough variation across brands to make it worth doing. Also check out some of the reviews. I see a few on WalMart.com that all mention the same glitch - the TV won't stay on. Maybe a software prob?

If you really have to have the 3D then it is probably a great deal. But the LED version has a far better picture! We have an older 42" Vizio LCD and the newer 47" Vizio LED and the picture difference is amazing.

I would agree if you don't have to have 3D you could find something in an LED.

The Samsung UN46D6000S is an excellent 46" LED. It's on sale for $999 at Best Buy but I remember they were on sale for $899 I believe during Black Friday. I know a little higher but a good quality tv.

It's definitely worth exploring. You are going to pay up for the 3-D and if you decide you really don't want it or will use it much; you should be able to find a really decent LED in the same size and price range as the LCD that you are considering.
