Since i love Scumipari, i will be pulling for the lesser of 2 evils. Sorry Tom but i'm not much of a Petino fan as well. Go Cardinals though. It drives me nuts listening to the commentators singing the praises of Calipari as a great coach. I bet over half his underclassmen don't return next year. He is a joke as a coach. Try Coach K, or Roy Williams, or even Jim Boeheim , year after year they are on top and Graduate kids. Anyone can have a great team for one year. They have to go pro because they are not eligible to play division 1 basketball cause they have an incomplete in all classes.
Sorry if i offend anyone but isn't it still about education? I can't stand these kids who play one year and leave. Give that free pass to someone who can't afford school. And Duke used to be awesome as far as kids going all 4 years, however even they have had kids leaving early in the last 10 years. Austin Rivers is now talking about going. That surprises me with who his dad is. There is a big difference between a 19 year old and full grown men who play in the NBA.
Very sore subject for me.
Go Louisville. Can't stand UK. On a side note a co-worker showed me an article from a college basketball magazine that lists it's preseason top 25 for next season (based on expected returners, early leavers, in-coming class, etc.) and they have Louisville as No.1, Indiana at No.3 and UK at No.4. Obviously way early to talk about that, and a lot can change, but it was interesting.
Lifelong Indiana fan here. They have an amazing recruiting class coming in next year to go with the players there now. SHould be interesting. I used to just loathe UK, but I've softened up a bit. I completely disagree with their methods of recruiting and the type of one and done player they go after, but whatever. I'll just stick with the Hoosiers and actually watch an entire class grow up and mature.
My regional manager, who's a jerk of unimaginable magnitude is a major fan and graduate of Lousiville, so he's loving this. He's in charge of the L'Ville, Lexington and Cincinnati stores so this weekend should be tense for a few stores...
Go Cards. I don't care much for Pitino, but the school deserves a NC again.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I look at it like this... UK is expected to win, so if UL can pull off an upset, it will be the same as winning the championship of the century. All the weight is on UK. I do believe this is the game that determines the champion. I think either Louisville or Kentucky can handle Kansas or Ohio State. If nothing else there should be alot of state pride. Either way we're in the championship. Of course I'm pulling for UL.
They are playing some awesome ball right now. Cardinals have my full support. I hope Kentucky gets a little cocky as Baylor was a roll over game for them.
Nice game, Kansas. The Bucks had a great season (minus February), and I'm happy that they made it this far. Good luck with Kentucky, but I don't think anyone can beat them. Withey/Davis will be fun to watch.
UL gave UK a good scare, so I was pleased. My thought was that was the best they could do, and they delivered. I was proud of them. UK will absolutely handle Kansas. I have no doubts. If they win by less than a 20 point spread, I'll be amazed. Ohio State gave that game away last night.

Ohio State gave the game away? Did you watch the game? KU came out in the second half like the have all year--played GREAT defense and made key shots. They pretty much took Sullinger out of the game. You probably haven't watched a Kansas game other than this one, but they've been doing this ALL YEAR. Ohio State got out played, pure and simple.
Obviously Kentucky is the clear favorite, they have been all year. 20 point spread? Don't be ridiculous.......
What was with those ugly orange uniforms, Louisville was wearing?
Ohio State ran out of gas, maybe even choked a little. But take nothing away from the Jayhawks, they made it happen in the second half.
I'd love to see Kansas win because Bill Self is one of the truly good guys in the business. Have disliked Calipari and his condescending tone since I covered the 1994 Hall of Fame game between Arkansas and UMAss to kick off the '94-95 season.
Kentucky has too much talent, but strange things have happened in the title game — NC State over Houston, Villanova over Georgetown, Duke over UNLV with Johnson and Augmon.
I hope if Kentucky wins, Calipari takes his show back to the NBA.
