It's been in the 80's here in Northern Wisconsin. Normally we'd still be shoveling in mid-March.

I've been wearing shorts/tees and flip-flops all week here in southern Ontario.

When we were getting upper 60's in January and people were all saying how awesome it was, i wanted to punch them all in the mouth. Now these chumps are up in arms cause allergy season has already started. Same idiots will be complaining in July when its in the 100's plus.

See, I took night pics (that's at about 2am). Snow is awesome at night, it's totally bright.
The spring flowers are totally confused.

Hi. How come it's so bright? I know that the extreme north & south latitudes get that almost 24 hour night or day twice a year (I think), but you're not far enough north...are you? Thanks!

Oh, it's totally be darker up in the mountains, even with snow.
But my medium-large city is in a valley, so the city lights reflect on the dense snow clouds above, which reflect on the snow below.
It's like a weird plush hushed twi-world. And it only snows once a year in the valley (and never this late), if even that, so it's super special when it does.

As fruit farmers, hubby and I are preparing for a very tough year. We have blueberry clusters on the bushes,...six weeks ahead of schedule. If we have a frost, we can ice the bushes and save the fruit. But if we have a freeze, we are done for the year.

We are prepared for a frost. We spent yesterday afternoon and evening making sure each and every sprinkler is working. The only way to do that is to turn on the pumps, and walk around to unjam each sprinkler. Nothing like being soaking wet, climbing on a stepstool and standing face first in a Rainbird.

Wow. I didn't think MI would be that far ahead of normal. Good luck - my daughter will be devastated if something happens to the berry crop.
