With a new Bond movie being made, and I'm sure this has been asked here and everywhere else, How do you rate your Bonds? This is very hard and close because I like each one almost as much as the other one. and no ties please

IMO Roger Moore is the man because there is a Mego of him LOL

Sean Connery *is* James Bond, but in my mind, the current guy Craig is a pretty close second. None of the rest are even close...

The first Bond movie I remember seeing was Moonraker, so I always liked Roger Moore, but that Daniel Craig is awesome! There's no way I could list him better than Sean Connery just because HE'S SEAN FREAKIN CONNERY!!!

I like the gritty no-nonsenseness of Craig. Connery had flair. Moore had flares. Brosnan should have been better - unfortunately his movies were far camper than he was.

I'm glad to see some Roger Moore love on here, most people give me that "watchu talkin bout willis" look when I say he's my fave. Connery is super close, like, really, really close, but since Roger Moore was first Bond I ever saw, he squeaks by.

The Moore movies and Connery movies were different types of movies to me. I like them both for different reasons. I think the Connery movies were classier - "Goldfinger" is the best one, in my opinion, but Moore's movies were more fun in a lot of ways. My next favorite might be "The Spy Who Loved Me", in fact.

I think Connery was a better actor, and he got to play Bond a little deeper, more intriguing - but I really grew up with Moore's movies, and he has more of the Bond smirking playboy swagger, I guess. He played it a little more cartoony - but the movies are more cartoony too, so it works well.

I'm not a fan of any of the other movies - not that the other Bonds are bad actors necessarily. I just didn't like the other movies enough to care.

I did like the Daniel Craig ones - and I think Craig is good in them. He probably won't replace the other two in my head as the first guy I think of when I hear "Bond" though.

Connery- The Best Bond played him tough with tons of style, tough act to follow

Craig- He's plays him cold and straight up, this is more like what Ian Fleming wrote in his books

Dalton- His version is often passed by but his Bond movies were very good, totally different, very hardcore for it's time and moved away from moore's silly version. Dalton was originally supposed to be Connery's successor but he felt he was too young to take on the role....

Brosnan- He was playing Bond not being Bond in the movies. I felt he was posing the whole time......

Moore- Love Live and Let die, but I found the rest of his movies just got flat out silly. I find them almost un-watchable now......

Lanzeby- I like the one movie he was in, but he had to follow Connery and that's a tall order to fill.......

I can totally agree with that. Also, I really like Timothy Dalton better than Brosnan so I am changing my list. I always liked Lazenby a lot too so he would be a #4 or #5 on my list, he would be higher if he made a couple more movies, what was the deal with just one movie for that guy? I'm Glad Connery made Diamonds are Forever cause that is one of my top 5 Bond flicks.
