I'm a big fan of his work. I love Zep, love Page/Plant, even love the soundtrack to Death Wish II! Happy 64th to the guy that gets my vote for the best, most melodic, and sloppiest guitar solos of the last 40 years!

I've seen some old clips of Zeppelin -- especially I think Kashmir --- Jimmy Page is playing his guitar with a violin bow.

Just wondering, is that for real ?

Or was it just for show on stage ?

Reason i'm asking, years ago I tried it with my junkie Squire and fiddle bow--- and man that didn't sound anything like Kashmir

I don't think Jimmy plays the violin bow on his guitar in Kashmir. He would usually do that during Dazed and Confused.

                My mind must be going

                Hey...
                Question....
You seem to be pretty up on the Zep.......
I got this CD as a free gift when I bought "Remasters" through a mail-order add back in the early 90's ......
Been trying to find out if it has any value because it's a promo.....
I came up pretty empty-handed for info.

                The auction below is mine.

                  Scary isn't it!

All the Rock icons are in thier 50's and 60's. I'm less than 2 years away from 50 myself!

May he rock on into the future.
Too many toys. Not enough space!

I've seen that on Ebay a few times. Unfortunately, Interview material such as albums and CDs aren't very desirable and don't fetch very much. If it had some live music along with the interviews then thats a different story. I have been seeing LZ bootleg albums going for some crazy money lately (I am always looking for Rare Zeppelin). Sometimes I don't know if I'm more into collecting LPs or Collecting Megos.
