Downton Abbey

I just finished season 1, and I have to admit that given the premise, I did not think that I would enjoy it as much as I did.

Anyone else watching? Can't wait for the zombie version where the servants snack on the upper crust.

Good show. Season 1 is better than 2, but 2 is still pretty good. If you get a chance to see some behind-the-scenes stuff, do it.

There is so much going on in season 2 compared to season 1.

I think my biggest issue with it once the war begins is that I would have wanted to watch a show about the world war 1 at the front and in the hospital rather than all the petty intrigues that drove the first season. Instead of following Matthew and William trying to dodge germans, we get the female characters worrying about it.

Everything they are doing to throw roadblocks at Anna and Bates is just maddening at this point.

Season 2 was pretty torrid, but still a good watch. Season 1 was flat out addictive. I hope they nail season 3...and SOON!
