    AFA to grade video games

I know how most of you feel about AFA....most everyone hates them. So don't accuse me of being a proponent or detractor of AFA. This is just something I got in an email from them yesterday. They are starting to grade video games. The division is called VGA. Have fun with this info.

OK so you buy a sealed vintage game. Now you can never play it.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

People do collect vintage video games with a passion. I know rare Atari and Intellivision games can be worth quite a bit of money. Most of those games can be bought on a single disk so I imagine the people buying them aren't playing with them.

I guess this is the new hot area of collecting.

sealing that up might improve the gameplay.

I kid, I was good at E.T., at least I think I was. I remember falling in the hole a great deal.

Ha ha ha. I remember even as a kid thinking that game was bull. In fact, there were many many Atari games back in the day that were "rush to market" crud that were so boring to play.....

ET is the worst game I have ever played. Not to mention the funniest too, so bad was the game that all unsold copies were taken out into the desert some where (Arizona I think) and buried under a thousand's of tonnes of sand. I kid you not, check it out on wikipedia.

As for AFA grading games, I hope that they know what they are doing, people are going to AFA junk like loose copies of Air Sea Battle and ask hundreds of dollars.
                  More stupid people.
