Probably worth a small fortune today if you actually bought them......

The difference is, these toys were made to be funny novelty type toys and the others weren't.

Yes but even as novelty toys go, no one bought them and the company went belly up in two years! So these guys put their heart & soul into a (terrible) idea hoping to become successful with it and when the novelty toy buying public turned their collective backs on them, they failed! You can still buy Easy Bake ovens and Cabbage Patch dolls today and both were around for a while before they started burning and eating children's fingers respectively.

My oldest son had a Dragon Flyz...they actually were pretty cool toys. The only way I could see that toy hurting someone is intentionally trying to catch it in your mouth or something stupid like that. I never heard of the Homeless American Girl Doll but remember they had another line that was a complete bomb. I think they were called "Girls of the World" and were small display dolls meant for a pre-teen market. They originally sold for $50-$75 or so but bombed so bad that they were blowing them out at less than $20 a piece. My daughter has the entire set and I know the Ireland doll was selling for $500 at one time on Ebay. I'm sure some of these other bombs go for some big money on Ebay.
