    Eastwood coming to town

I dont really have any details right now but Clint Eastwood is suppose to start filming a movie about 30 miles from here. It will be great for the nearby city. Its suppose to be a baseball film i think. I just found out about it,lol. Its in middle Georgia.

Macon is 18 miles from where I am. There was a news story last week about how to audition for a part. I don't think I'm interested. The film is going to filmed in part at Luther Williams Field. It has been the home of several minor-league teams, including the Macon Braves.

I doubt I could land a part to bother auditioning. They were looking for "a certain look". Im guessing its for either the very atheletic or very unatheletic, depending on what type of film it is. By the looks of the title, it may be of the washed up variety. The audition training was pretty intensive from what I understand. They not only wanted people who could throw, but could sprint and do extensive exercises!
Im sure that in a working environment signing for people is gonna be the last thing hes gonna wanna do. Who wants to make Dirty Harry angry!
I think it will be good for the city. I think this might be the third film Eastwood has done in Georgia.

He filmed a movie some years back in my neck of the woods. In fact, the cast and crew rented my school's (church's) multi purpose room to feed everyone. Sadly, not the staff of my school, but one of my co-workers got to say hello and shake Clint's hand.

I worked on a few low budget films and working on a film is not like a day at the amusement park. They tell you when you get hired: you won't get to hang with the stars, talk to the director and swap stories, or look in the camera viewfinder to see the shot. You're expected to do what you were hired to do and sometimes much more. If you ask for an autograph chances are you'll annoy the actor & get fired.

That's exciting. It also sounds like an interesting movie.
