Everyone always hates on SNL but they really did a great job handling that. They pretty much got everything out of the way in one 5 min skit.t. The only line that got any kind of groans was the "chinese in MSG" one. Overall pretty funny though.

It seems the headline came from an ESPN announcer...

              http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESEGRwnQW4k

It was a stupid thing to say. And yeah, ESPN needs to fire him and whoever else allowed that to get posted as a headline. You would think with diversity being such a key theme in the workplace, no one would have let this get through to the public. Impossibly stupid.

I can't believe you guys are so bothered about this. With all the major things in the world you could get really mad about this seems to be just nothing.

Was is it a slow news day over there?

Since poltics and religion are not topics of discussion here, we have to make do with what remains. This was not so much a racial story/thread but one of stupidity and disrespect. We'll do better in the future to remain topical and newsworthy...
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Wow. I can't even believe anyone would think that was intentionally racist. It's a figure of speech. My wife is Chinese-American...she laughed at the idea someone posted it in a racially motivated way. Besides Lin is TAIWANESE-American...

In the USA the term used (to many people) is almost as bad as N-word

For a huge company to make this mistake is big news.

There's no way nobody realized this before it was published.

To be in such good shape that a few words on a website can upset you.
