I was just going to type the exact same thing! MJ died like 4 years ago and the value of his "dolls" have come back down to earth. I also thought of Captain Action and Ideal's Super Queens when I saw the Blythe doll. (Very creepy BTW) Happy Meal Toys!? You also have a better chance at winning the lottery than finding a children's book that's worth anything. Sure it could happen but so many times I've come across a book that I though for sure was the mother-load only to discover it's worthless. Too many variables come into play with books....Last edited by spacecaps; Feb 17, '12, 10:38 AM."Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you."Comment

I also know as a collector of lunchboxes (haven't bought one in years) that prices have dropped significantly. I don't even know why they are lumped in as a child's toy. The books too."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."

Blythe will always be collectible. They are very big in Japan and apparently most of them have gone up in higher value. I like them and always but I don't plan on owning one unless I come across it at at yard/estate sale for a good price.
For now my daughter has a reissue version.Comment

I have a reissue Blythe of the same one I had when I was little."Do you believe, you believe in magic?
