Got it earlier, and my first impression isn't so much that it sounds like old VH, but Eddie playing on a DLR Band album. There were only a couple tracks I thought stood out, but I'm a tough sell--almost every album I love that was released after the 80s has had to grow on me.

I'm assuming the opening night of the tour in Louisville is ending right about now.... Did anybody go? Any feedback?

Seems like it was a great show.

This whole thing of them adding songs to the setlist they haven't done since
VHII/W&CF era is getting some attention.

I never would have thought in a million years that this new Van Halen album would have debuted with such high numbers. I've been playing it. Anyone watch the little DVD jam on the two disc? Some didn't get the two disc dvd.
Ian Gillan released his latest album with a CD on one side and a DVD on the other (Flip it over) that's what Van Halen and bands should do from now on.
