1973 Saturday Morning Sneek Peek w/ Superfriends and Rick Springfield!

OK, you know I love this! I remember this from when I was little and thinking "There's that cute guy from the Sonny & Cher Show" (Rick guest starred on that in '72), and it was love, at least to a little 7-year old. Also featured is Yogi, Goober, Lassie, and Bugs Bunny. (This is only the first 15 mins. of the show). Enjoy! I did

          Its Mario in '73! LOL
This is before my time to, I was born in December of that year.
It seems like saturday morning cartoons were a big deal back then. I know I miss turning on the tv now and watching cartoons on saturdays. They still show some cartoons on a few channels but I hardly call Busytown Mysteries (or whatever its called) remotely as good as what they use to show even well into the early nineties.
Not many kids have Boomerang, it annoys me that kids dont have access to the classics like Bugs Bunny and The Flintstones.

            I miss Saturday Morning cartoons.

Though Teletoon Retro is doing a great job bringing back all the old classics.

Though they need to cut down on Inspector Gadget. I don't hate Gadget but it seems lately it's on about 4 times a day.

Yep! I love that cartoon as well. I remember watching it when I was 6 and 7. I have some eps on tape now.

I am too young to remember this (I would have been 2 when this aired) but it is really full of win to see Superman and Batman like that.

If only somebody would post the 1976 version for NBC with Freddy Prinze, a really mint copy exists as somebody posted a few clips from it.

Is this the first and only live action appearance of Superman and Batman together?

And with a budget of probably $50, it's a pretty good Superman costume at that - certainly better then "Superman Returns."

It's only related to Kids from C.A.P.E.R but look at the quality! I need to see the Monster Squad segments.

Hmmm...I mostly watched ABC and CBS on Saturdays. I did watch Krofft shows, Baggy Pants and the Nitwits, and The Red Hand Gang. But I never even heard of The Kids from CAPER and Monster Squad until my adult life. But Freddie Prinze! I even had his sweatshirt!
