watched it last night. really creepy cool....so far. shows has a neat premise and lots of potential. the blond woman is really hot too.
those demonic dolls were really creepy
I watched it. A little campy in parts, but pretty good overall. I do like the feel of the show - the idea of finding the source of "magic" and what not in the Amazon.
I'm going to give it a go and see where it goes. The previews for next week look creepy too.
the only thing i did not care for was the "blair witch" filming while they do everything. at least it is not every part of the show but it is distracting when the camera is constantly moving and makes it hard to see what the hell is happening
*sigh* No, they didn't put it on On Demand.
Sucks too, I missed the premiere.
For whatever reason they don't put some series on demand, and if I try recording on dvdrw, they block it, so I can never see some stuff if I miss it (since I don't have a TIVO or the like). At least with old VCRs you could record shows. Stupid copy protection stuff.
I was looking forward to this show, although the constantly moving camera is starting to really become a pet peeve with me. Hopefully the spooky nature of the show will override that.
Fell asleep during the second episode...don't think I'll be tuning in for more. I couldn't care less if the rest of the cast gets eaten or possesed or whatever.
I watched it with the wife today. We both found it boring and pretty pathetic most of the time. She won't be watching anymore and i'm pretty sure i won't be giving it any more of my time as well.

After "Blair Witch" did big box office, Fox enlisted the filmmakers to do a TV show, the short-lived "FreakyLinks", but part of the deal seemed to be that they had to use the same "shaky-cam" gimmick used in the movie. The same conditions seem to have been imposed on Oren Peli (of "Paranormal Activity") regarding "The River". Building the whole thing around a gimmick seems lazy and short-sighted. That aside, I see problems with the pacing and the makers need to vary the types of scares, the set-ups, heck, have some episodes without any scares to mix it up.
