My only complaint was I wish she did songs like Like a Virgin, Material Girl or the Austin Powers song

The half time show was superb.

        Madonna was superb

whoever organised all that lot and got it on the field in 5 minutes flat is superb.

This was miles better than a lot of proper concerts.

and all those folks who are saying it was bad, well you just can't please some folks.

        So there, rant over.

I think she's played out......I like how that other Idiot singer, MIA flipped the bird, and cussed such a scuz....

Her new song reeks of Mickey by Tonil Basil........lol Kinda corny even for her.....

I also agree that she put on a good performance....better than expected. It was kind of like going to watch a movie that you really don't want to see and are pleasantly surprised. The costumes, special effects, etc. were really good. The bird flipping happened so fast that I thought I saw something but didn't hear about it until this morning. She isn't well known so I'm sure she did it to gain some exposure for herself.

I thought Madonna was entertaining. But surely we can all agree that the best half-time show in recent memory was Prince...

I'm no Madonna fan and I thought it was okay. It was pretty tame for her. I kept expecting her to rip off her clothes. Since my kids were in the room, I'm glad she spared us that.

As for lip-synching, with that much dancing, it's almost a given. I think the overall performance was above standard, and she actually looks pretty good for 52 years old.

I have a lot of respect for her, but she's not my cup of tea. I was ready for it to be over about 5 minutes before it was over.

Prince's halftime show a few years ago in the rain was my favorite. Play your big hits, blow the doors off the place and get off the field. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TnPo...eature=related

She did seem to have trouble moving up and down. I did like her Thor like head dress though.

I thought she did fine, but for the life of me I don't know why she handicapped herself with those ridiculous shoes. She could have been so much more fluid. At one point my wife said, "Doesn't that woman age?"

I think she wore those ridiculous shoes because she's teeny tiny. I'm not a fan, but I thought she was pretty entertaining. The Super Bowl halftime show really isn't the best venue to show off live music chops; it's an entertainment extravaganza more than a concert.

I agree Prince's halftime show was the best in recent memory, probably because he's such a great musician, but he's on a different level than mere mortals.

I didn't think it was too bad. It goes to show how much effort is put into a real concert, to make everything come off right. The Superbowl is set up for a sporting event not a musical show. Given all the variables, I think they did ok. Doesn't everyone lip synch for those?

Prince was definitely the best in the last few years.
