    Yeah, I don't know about their LCDs but I agree that the Samsung plasmas are great TVs, the current models give the Pannys a run for the money as the best plasmas currently out there. I got a 43" one in the office and love it.

    But yeah, it sounds like your TV is going bad. On the positive side, TVs have never been cheaper. I'm actually hoping that our 5 year old big one in the family room dies just so I can justify to my wife for buying a nicer, little bit bigger replacement.

      My 11 year old son just figured out something that might be the culprit (not sure if it is too late). We have an invisible fence around our yard for our dogs and part of it seperates the front from the back yard. My tv sits right up near the fence line. My son showed me that the dog's collar beeps from inside the house. So now, I am calling the invisible fence company to find out if it can mess up electronics equipment and it just might be an issue of tuning the fence line a little.
