Van Halen - New album preview

If you click on the link below and look to your left under the VH radio logo, you will see a picture of their new album cover. Run your cursor over that and a play button will appear, which allows you to preview the new record. Man, I got to say, this does not sound very good. If anything it sounds like it belongs with VHIII. I think it's safe to say Van Halen's best days are now behind them. At this stage, they can only be successful as a touring act.

Sounds just like they always did with David Lee Roth to me. The only obvious problem for me is the song itself. Hopefully that is a B track and not representative of their A game.

Never been a fan, but their work with Hagar was the best I heard. Cherone is far and above the most talented, but was a mismatch of style. His new stuff in the band Hurtsmile is pretty sweet and much heavier.
