Just kind of curious... how many of you on this board are teachers? Grade school, high school, college, sunday school, corporate trainers, et al... doesn't matter.
I've been a before/after-school teacher, a youth group leader, a Sunday School teacher, and currently I teach pre-school.
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
I have a degree in history with an emphasis in (wait for it) historic textiles. What does that mean? Previously, I worked in preservation at a local living history museum. I also gave school tours and taught day classes on mid 19th century to early 20th century life. Translation,...while laced into a corset, I did backbreaking, manual labor for the education and enjoyment of the museum-going public.
Due to health issues, I currently teach on a limited, volunteer basis at an educational farm. While our farm encourages sustainable agriculture, local food hubs, proper animal care and renewable energy, I began there because they also want to teach the history of local agriculture.
