I don't even watch that much TV, but I've been subjected to these ads at least twice a day for weeks. I cringe every time I hear it, and can't get to the mute fast enuff.. it's an assault to my senses.

Am I too sensitive?

I love the piggy...he's just so darn cute. I love his little snort.

I actually liked the initial commercial. It was a different approach, so I gave it credit for trying to think outside the box. But screaming on the ski lift is overstating the charm of said piggy. If he keeps screaming, we'll need to turn him into bacon.

I liked the first piggy one too.

It's fairly easy to write one clever commercial. It's much harder to write a campaign that carries a theme.

I think they're definitely stretching it a bit on this one.

GEICO seems to be determined to annoy the public to the maximum effect with cavemen, lizards, squeeling pigs and other charaters simply to increase name recognition and (unfortunately) it works. I for one will not do business with a company that is hellbent on bugging the cr@p out of me.

It's not just GEICO, although they were the catalyst...the insurance business is now in a war of TV and Radio commercials and I don't get it or like it.

State Farm, Progressive, Farmers, American Family, etc all have multiple ads running. It's so annoying.

I have the fastest mute finger in the world. Most commercials annoy me. The one that got me the most recently was that dang jaguar at play one. Every dang commercial break. I don't know about you guys but a $100,000 car is not in my budget and they might need to consult their marketing director to find the correct audience. Maybe ... and holy crap I'm watching the military channel and that stupid pig just came on.

The pig commercial doesn't annoy me mostly because my 11 year old son smiles every time it comes on....I guess some things just don't get too old for him.

To me, the most annoying commercials are the AT&T 4G commercials (where everyone is standing around staring at their phones, making comments, only to have someone say "that was so 12 seconds ago". The most annoying is the tailgate party. I don't know who wrote the commercial but men don't act that way. Someone would have punched the guy in the face and told him "that was real time!"
