watching it now and loving it. Even if you are not an Elmo-kid, it's really quite relate-able since Kevin Clash grew up with the same Sesame Street and Muppet Show that we did.Comment

I'm not an Elmo fan either, but as a teacher who works w/ puppets during Circle Time at my pre-school, and a person who grew up watching Sesame Street, I'd totally see this film. It is inspiring!"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."Comment

Kevin Clash was at the local university a couple months ago for a lecture, and my daughter & I attended. He brought Elmo and met EVERY person in the audience. What was truly neat is to see him 'disappear' when Elmo started talking, both for grownups & kids Elmo became 'real' & the total focus.
Plus the local PBS station filmed it and we got to be seen on TV (if only briefly sitting in the audience!).Comment

Not a huge Elmo fan. Seems like he's kind of a knockoff, more pre-school friendly version of one of THE COOLEST muppets ever...
...and his super-heroic alter-ego, of course...
Guess I'm just more if a blue muppet fan than a red muppet fan. Plus, Grover had a great voice; Elmo's is just----annoying....sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.Comment
