---My computer died

Hi guys,

Incase anyone was wondering where i've been, my 12 year old Dell computer finally gave out last weekend... It's deader than dead.

I think i'm square with all deals to date on the Museum (hopefully)

I'm writing this post from my neice's computer.

Not sure when i'm going to be able to get another computer.

So for now I just wanted to say hi, and say why I haven't been around.

Computer question, is it a desktop or lap? If desktop, could be the power supply if it's completely dead with no power. I had to replace mine on my desktop. Went to bed one night and it's fine, next morning nothing, no power, nothing. Bought a new one off ebay for $60 and replaced it myself. Though my computer is only 3 years and has better specs than a lot of the new ones. So it was well worth the 60 bucks. 12 years old is probably time for a new one.

I know walley mart has box deals for cheap - and I bet there is someone selling a recent computer in your local newspaper- almost always!

Used computers are so cheap now...you should be able to get one with little money.

My Dell is almost that old, but I have 2 backups, just in case.

I was just thinking yesterday that I haven't seen you post for a while. I can hook you up with an old computer if you want it. It's old but it works and it will get you online. It's a MAC, though, you know - Most Awesome Computer. I'll dig it out and send it to you if you want it. I am assuming your display still works, which could be used with it.
