    Robe and slippers

You remember how all the older shows had people getting ready for bed, and they always wore their robe and slippers? Even when something was happening in the middle of the night, before they left the room, robe and slippers. My question is, do wear a robe and slippers? I do, but only b/c I don't wear shoes in the house and I'm cold.

    How about you?

I wear the whole classic nighttime outfit... I wear a pajama set, cotton long sleeve button down and long pants. Over this I wear a robe, flannel when its cold and cotton in the summer. And I wear slippers. I prefer the kind that look like moccasins. I originally bought pajamas to be funny, then fell in love with them. It just sort of evolved into wearing the whole deal.
My Girlfriend laughed super hard when I showed her the Twilight Zone Jason Foster figure. When I asked her what was so funny about him, she pointed out that I was wearing almost the exact same outfit. oops?

I am totally a robe and slippers guy, especially in the winter. Actually, I'm wearing them right now! I should probably get dressed and go to work soon.

Yes, I wear P.J. pants along with a comfortable short and/or long sleeved shirt. Socks and slippers for me. When it's really cold, a robe as well.

Yes/No - Although I have a couple of robes I usually do not wear them much unless there is a drastic temperature change. Good ole Missouri. 70 degrees one day and then 17 the next. No kidding.

I feel much more comfortable sleeping in my birthday suit as it pertains to
pj's. I use to wear pj's when I was a kid. I have lots of licensed "lounge wear" now. Kind of the same thing I guess. Just a different name now. I rarely sleep in them either though. I wear them around the house instead as they are comfortable.

I have the slippers, I just need a decent robe. I used to have one but wore it out. But then, I only wear the robe during the colder months.

Egads no. I would rather be caught naked than wear a robe and slippers.

The only time I was forced to wear a robe and slippers was after my C-sections when I was forced to walk up and down the hallways at the hospital during recovery...to cover the draft on my behind.

I might wear boxers to bed, if it's a cold night...

From October to March, I swear by slippers. I prefer high-tops (moccs?), and rotate through 2-3 pairs at a time so they have time to air out. I picked up a pair from Kohl's last fall in the women's department that look like wookie feet.

I generally don't do robes unless it's really cold (I have forced-air heat, and the basement (my TV room) doesn't get its fair share). I got a down-filled robe last fall at a ridiculous discount around Black Fri. It's like a full length down parka. Toasty. So, when the cold finally hits Ohio, it'll either be the robe, or the Superman Snuggie.

It all depends on the time of year. In the summer, no way. Now? We are heating the house up to 58 degrees during the day and you don't even want to know what happens to our inside temps at night. So whenever I am out from under those comforters, long johns, Ts, big hunting socks, robes and slippers it is.

Oooh girl! I like to keep my house at a comfy 70 degrees to warm it up, but I turn the heater off at night. I wake up to 58 degrees and that's WAAAY tooo cold for me! I can't imagine having that as my normal temp during the day! How cold does it get at night?
