My Sad Loss

Finally had to have one of my dogs put to sleep this week. I had her from a dog rescue centre over 10 years ago, and what a loyal loving friend she was. Staffordshire Bull Terriers have got a bit of a reputation here in the UK but this one wouldnt hurt a fly. She used to sleep with the cats loved the kids and brought us 10 years of loyalty. She fell ill just before Christmas and after having a fit on Tuesday night we decided to do the humane thing. It broke our hearts but we stayed there till the end.

I am so sorry for your loss. Our family dog is named Prancer and my oldest son cries whenever she goes in for a checkup. I can't imagine how he would react to a situation like yours. RIP Sadie

I am sorry to here you lost a good friend of many years. I lost mine last summer it's hard to loose a good friend.

You have my deepest condolences on Sadie's passing, Bluebird. Pets create a very special bond with us and when they go away, the void created is just as deep and painful as a human death. But eventually, that void fills in with loving memories of our friend who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge and is waiting for us on the other side. I am so sorry. Losing your pup is so very hard. Just remember Sadie IS in a better place and out of pain. I'm a big believer that you will see your pups again in the hereafter. My deepest sympathies.
