It will be interesting to see how Tebow is viewed after losing so badly. Will he be excused or will he be beat up in the media?

And will Elway finally name him as his quarterback?

I've always felt that Elway would tell his coach to start Tebow next year because he won a playoff game this season. But I guarantee you they will be grooming the back up QB to start if Tebow shows no improvement after the first game. He must be measurably better next year or he will get pulled early. The honeymoon officially ended tonight.

58 is Von Miller...Rookie....pro bowl linebacker, who is extremely frustrated in the way his defense laid down for the Patriots. I feel his pain.

GOD I HATE THE PATRIOTS!!!!!!!! Mostly the Smug Patriot Fans.

Tebow didn't give up 45 points, so I cant lay the defeat at his feet. Denver needs a lot of help on D for next year. Tebow will be back. He needed to run more from the shotgun, he kept runnin the wrong direction...something like 15 plays for a loss. yuck..... tough to watch....its gonna be a long off season.

I have firmly believed that Brady was among the top five QB's I've ever seen play along with Montana, Young, Marino and Manning.

I can say with confidence I was wrong.

He is THE best I've seen. His methodical and surgical disembowelment of the Broncos is proof that he is the elite of the elite. I know there aren't many fans of Brady outside of the Boston metropolitan area, but this guy is as good as anyone who has ever stepped foot onto a field. Of that there can be little doubt. I'm not necessarily a Pats fan, but I certainly can appreciate and admire the hell out of his accomplishments.

I so want to see a Packers/Pats Super Bowl. I could not imagine a better and more entertaining game.

Then he needs to play like a pro. At this level there is no excuse for what he did. His smirking face after it was done tells me he is a punk. I will not condone his actions by saying he was frustrated. But i hate the Steelers for the same reason you hate the Patriots.

Let's not get carried away...Brady dismantled an 8-8 team at home...come on now...

P.S. You forgot to mention Elway...he was not too shabby either.

It takes a lot for me to say he's better than Montana/Young/Marino, so I definitely mean it. I'm looking at an entire career, though he did rip apart the most dominating part of the Broncos team pretty easily. I'm just expressing personal opinion, not fact.

I left off Elway from the list because of my intense, deep-seeded despisal of his pompous, arrogant horse-mouthed Beta Ray Bill faced jackass self. I've never hated a professional athlete more, and I cannot back up my feelings with anything concrete. He was a badass of immense talent, but I can't add him to any favorable list I come up with. It's most likely genetic.

BTW, I love what the Niners showed today. Look at the difference one coach can make. Singletary would have had these guys picking fourth in the draft. I may have to do some digging to see if I still have a San Fran jersey, though I highly doubt it still fits.

I understand what you are saying...and believe me...I think Brady is one of the best myself.

But I can't call him the best ever...for one...he plays in today's league...a league that's very offensive oriented that favors both QBs and WRs...it really affects cornerbacks a lot...they barely touch a WR...and they get flagged...thus giving the QB even more chances to complete passes. Also...QBs are babied today...in the old days...they would truly get brutalized...they were a tougher breed.

There was no such advantages for QBs like Marino, Montana, Young, etc...

Imagine Marino playing today...wow...he'd be a total MONSTER...lol.

IMO...on pure passing god-given throwing skill talent...Marino was the best ever.

Montana was the coolest under pressure (and winner).

Young was like a great throwing version of Tebow.

Elway was the Manning of his time.

Brady has a little bit of all of them...so yes...he belongs...

To profess love for Tom Brady and then to call Elway pompous? Brady is an arrogant jerk wad, too.

It's a double edge sword. I think the Patriots are going back to the Superbowl. But I also think they will likely be losing another Superbowl. Their offense is excellent and Brady is one of the all time greats at QB. But their defense I think will be their downfall. After watching the 49ers and seeing what the Packers can do, it would take more than the game of Brady's life to win against them. It would have to take the very best defensive game as well. I just don't know if they have that or not. I just don't know. It would be cool though to see them win a fourth! So far a great weekend for football though. The best teams are certainly playing.
