Ok guys i know baseball is not really on anyones mind but Manny has been all over sportscenter. I am a diehard Redsox fan and have been since i was 7 and my farm system team was the redsox. I will never forget what he did for us but i also won't ever forget all the garbage he brought. It was time for him to go when he did. Maybe i have had enough time go by but watching him break down on sportscenter i felt a little bad for him. He has made some huge mistakes but i think i honestly believe him when he says he wants to right some of the wrongs over the last few years.
SO with all that. DO you think Manny will get a chance with any MLB team?
I say yes, he will have to sign for pennies but that will prove he is serious about looking better in the eyes of his family, especially his kids.

Manny years ago "pun intended" i ran the spencers gifts in the Pembrook Pines mall. I got the chance to meet Manny when he came into the store. Dude was like a freakin rock star and it seemed like everyone was kissing his backside. He was honestly pretty cool and down to earth. This was before all the manny being manny talk in Boston. D your there now, how do the locals look at him now. Other huge star that i got to meet was the Rock. That one i pretty much geeked out over. He was a little arrogant but i think half was him staying a bit in character.

Having seen Manny play in high school ( my friends kid was a pitcher for chelsea high school) I saw first hand how much of a beast he was as a kid.

I followed what he did in Cleveland and really liked what I saw, when he played for the Boston even though I hate the team, I did respect what a feared and amazing hitter he was.

I never really followed any of his looney crap Manny being Manny BS.....Just know the man could hit....

He's just a jerk, I trained a lady who was in charge of a program to help abused children(this is one of the sweetest women I've ever met) she was Janet Reno's right hand person for a long time...he decided he wanted to help, this was when he was on top of the world with the Sox...she knew I was a sports nut so she calls me and asks my advice...I tell her, yea he's super popular and should bring in money for the charity for sure

He comes does his thing, he starts to auction off some sort of wine or liquor with his name...he tells her, i'll give you guys 15% of w/e I sell and tell everyone no pics or auto's...people were furious that he pose with the kids or give more money..don't get me wrong, they were grateful but it was chump change dude..and she says he didn't even talk to anyone..I lost total respect for his *** after that
