    The Raiders can ANOTHER coach...

    Is it January??

    Let's see....Christmas...check.....New years....check....Raiders canned their head coach...check. Oh yes, it's January!!

On the bright side, with Al D. now sporting his newest track suit in hell, and the Oakland Raiders hiring a GM with a good past record- maybe they can FINALLY right the pirate ship.

I think Al passing on was payment on a debt he owed to someone who bought his soul years ago- think about the Raiders in the early 70s trying to get over the hump- then finally getting titles in 77 and 81 and 84 - and then not back in the sb until 01 and getting STOMPED- and still losing all the way up to this past season as well - just seems like one of those classic "sold my soul to the devil " stories and got tricked in the process- but maybe they can get on the right track.

Hue Jackson fired. Who couldn't see this coming? He traded away two years of picks for Palmer and totally ripped his team during the season-end press conference.

Raiders would have been better off with Hugh Jackman.

        My Hue Jackson...GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This coach failed to instill discipline to this bunch of idiots...I mean...yes...they had some injuries, but what team doesn't. The thing that really infuriated me about the Raiders this season was their dumbarse penalties...come on...it was a record-braking year for Christ's sakes...and that all goes back to the head coach...it's his ship...and he has to run it properly...Jackson just basically kept sinking that ship...a good coach would NOT TOLERATE that kinda bullcrap.

That...and perhaps giving up too much for Carlson Palmer...lol.

But it looks like general manager Reggie McKenzie...is going about it in the right way...let's see what happens next.

I hope the Raiders get Winston Moss...the current assistant head coach/inside linebackers coach of the Packers...

The Carolina Panthers had a TON of injuries this year- but they played with discipline and drive- I didn't see much of that in the Raiders this past season.

In the end, the coach should NEVER blame the players- if it's not his job to get the best from his players- than who's job is it??
