I just designed my first website!!!

I am about to start selling these professionally reproduced images of an original panoramic photograph I own, so I figured I will need some kind of website. I have hired a guy as the reproducer (owner of a fine arts gallery here in Baton Rouge) and a guy that is a holder of LSU licenses (owner of the biggest LSU merchadise store here in Baton Rouge).

Tell you what, for $184, for three years and domain ownership, GoDaddy.com is great and VERY user friendly, and if you get stuck, they have the great tech supporters that will walk you through anything you need, via the phone. I had him on the phone today for about 30 minutes. I kept saying sorry for taking so long, he had no problem and was grateful!!!

These days it is much easier to design a web site than what it was years ago. I used to dabble around with designing for fun. I did some for friends and some female friends as well. I used Frontpage 2002 for mine years go. That was then and this is now. I am sure that there are even more better options available these days.

Overall I am really happy with GoDaddy.com not that they need my plug. I host all of my sites, domain names with them.

I am not so sure on the she can't be beat part, but she really does help with the eye candy department..... No complaints here at all.

Thanks, it is the pride and joy of my collection. I paid over $2000 for it (including the $300+ framing). The story on how I obtained it is great.

I ran into another LSU collector at his daughter's garage sale and he invites me to come see his collection. While I am there, he shows me two rare patches from 1958 teams' letterman jackets. He also pulls out this photograph that he has rolled up in his kitchen. He has no idea which game it is from. The image is dated in the picture itself, very small, 11-24-24. I tell him it is the very first game in Tiger Stadium.

Skip ahead a couple months later, I call him to see if he would be interested in selling one of the two letterman jacket patches. He said he would, and than I jokingly say I want to buy the photograph as well. I said he wouldn't sell it to most people, but he would sell it to me. At first I thought it would be way out of my price range, but he told me to shoot him a price, so I did. After a little haggling, we settle on $2000 for the patch and photo, and the rest is history.
