    The future finally happened!

I put Star Wars on my iPhone today.

It just occurred to me that being able to carry around a copy of Star Wars on a little screen in my pocket that I can watch anytime I want to is my dream come true from the 3rd grade.

Plus, I can push a button and ask a computer questions as I walk around just like Captain Kirk.

I'm gonna go see if there's a landspeeder in my garage now.

This reminds me of the early-mid 70's when I got my first tape recorder

I recorded an episode of Star Trek from the TV and was in heaven

I used to listen to it in bed under the covers with an earphone

I thought this post would have been about flying cars, underwater cities and death rays capable of blowing up the moon...

This reminds me of listening to TV shows on my radio. It didn't matter what the show was, it was TV ON MY RADIO!!! I HAD to listen to it. I also used to sit in my laundry basket instead of on the bed though.

Awesome! The first thing I did when I got the first video ipod was transfer King Kong (1933) to it. I loved having it with me, because it's one of my favorite movies - but I also loved the idea of using cutting edge technology to watch something that was 70 years old - but cutting edge in it's day.

Now THAT would be totally bad arse. Keep us posted on that just in case one does happen to appear in your garage. I want one to.

Just give me my Jetson's hover car, and I'll be fine.

Shoot, I'd even sit on Moonbase Alpha and sweep floors.
