I'm not a big beer drinker - I find the older I get the harder it is to deal with all the excess gas. (Lame, but true.) So I stick to rye, scotch or whiskey. I will drink stout as well (which is much easier on me for some reason.)

I will have a Heineken once in a while.

The only beer that's good enough for me to deal with gas pains is from a small Canadian company, and the beer is called Beau's Lug • Tread: Lug•Tread Lagered Ale | Beau's All Natural Brewing Co.

Yeah - I guess my beer taste is a little bit fancy-pants.

I get heartburn like crazy, and eat gaviscon or tums like they're going out of style. I've wasted multiple cases last few years by only drinking the neck out of the bottle and letting the rest go warm/flat. Maybe that's why I've been drinking the darks so much, less carbination?

I love root beer. That's the only kind of beer to drink.

I like Milwaukee's Best and Rainier. I also really like "Moose Drool" which is a Montana beer (great on tap).

First of all...you guys can keep your root beer...my mother LOVES that stuff...she can have it all...lol.

                  Beers?

Mmm...it depends on the season, occasion, foods, etc...many factors decide what beer is best for me.

Like right now...during cold weather...a nice dark ale rules...Euro beers are great of course...but I also like to drink from local microbreweries here in the States.

I also like pilseners, lagers, porters, stouts, weissbiers, dark, light, it just depends.

But like Sandy said...if it's a hot day...by the beach...and there's some killer oysters or ceviche on the side...an ice cold Mexican pale lager like Corona, Pacifico, and Sol...sure hits the spot...oh...not just one though...I need at least a six-pack to satisfy my man needs...then a couple of shots of tequila...then...

P.S. I don't mind Bud, Coors, Miller, etc...at the end of the day...beer is beer...I'm easy to please...lol.

iI love USA craft brewed beer (Sam Adams is not craft brewed imo). The brews easily match or surpass anything made in the world. Most who live outside the U.S. associate American beer as Bud, Miller, or Coors (which all generally are horrible). My personal favorite is Dogfish Head on the Eastern Shore in Delaware. Fortunately, I have access and have tried everything they have released (with the exception of some collaboration brews). I can honestly say that there isn't one of their 30+ offerings which I didn't like. They manufacture 30 or so diffent ales, lagers, pilsners, etc that kick butt. Try anything from them and most anything made from the big three has no taste. I can confidently say that Dogfish brews can go up against anyone in the world and prevail

Sam Adams Oktoberfest and Molson Ice. I used to drink Heinekin and Becks...but my stomach can't take them anymore.
