    What's your favorite beer?

okay, probably had this thread before. but really, does anybody get sick of talking about beer?

Usually, I'm a Bodington's man, but have been drinking only dark or European beers lately. Thankfully my family knows me well and I got a couple of gift-buckets of beer for X-mas. I'm having a Hirschbrau right now. It's excellent.

I also got to try a very nice double chocolate cranberry stout last night (every bit as Delicious as it sounds), and I've got two Mill St. brewery coffee beers chilling in the fridge. I've heard very good things.

    you?

Not a big beer guy, but in the middle of summer, out 100 miles offshore, looking for tuna and marlin, an ice cold Pacifico is a little slice of heaven.

I can't believe the price of domestic beer these days. I started drinking when a 6 pack was less than 6 bucks. Now even shwill like Old milwakee is 12 bucks.

Most of the time I actually drank Milwaukee's Best --- which is Miller's economy brand ... Tasted just like Miller and was quite a bit cheaper.

I like trying something new whenever I see it. Right now finishing off a Dos Equis holiday half rack from Costco. It's taken me since before Thanksgiving.

Our Rite-Aid drug stores sell the domestic half-racks and cases for super cheap.

A few years ago we took a half-rack of Hamms to a party - it was on sale for $4.99.

I had two Hamms and immediately had the worst pounding headache ever. Now it's only micro brews and imports for me

Three years ago we went to Chicago and found a Champagne bar that sold little mini Miller High Life's...it was the only beer they sold, obviously. being the Champagne of Beers. I must have drank 10-15.

Is Miller Chill a citrus flavoured one? I honestly havent liked any of those, but I've been adding lemon, lime or Orange slices to my beers for years (well not dark beers, just the light stuff). I used to always buy Ol' English when I was a broke college student and you pretty much would do anything to change the flavour of that so buying a .25 lemon and a 2.00 OE was preferrable.

Yeah its the lime favored,if you catch it right it'll be about 70 cents a bottle. How can the even make it, bottle it and ship it at that pice? I've seen people put orange slices in Sam Adams before.

I drank a crap load of Sam Adam's Oktoberfest while on vacation in Florida. It's not available up here. I didn't think of it at the time, but orange slices would have been good. They add that to Keith's White India Pale Ale up here.

                            So much for 'cheap' beer.

To sip and be social I really like Boulevard Wheat but to just drink with the boys with the intention of getting tore up ( which I haven't done in a very long, perhaps too long a time) just about any domestic beer will do with the exception of Budweiser. Stuff kills my head, Bud Light's fine but Bud's a tough one.

I think I want to get hammered now.
