I don't watch football anymore and have not kept up for the last 4 years. My football watching days are over probably because I' disappointed with both Bay Area teams.

I'm excited that my Redskins destroyed the Cowboys yesterday and are heading into the playoffs.

They are playing their best football of the season right now and are probably the most dangerous team. They could have/ should have won every single game this season with the exception of New England. They were winning every single game going into the 2nd half.

Gibbs knows how to win when the chips are down which is an intangible most teams don't have. He also knows how to win Super Bowls without a star quarterback. Their season is being dedicated to Sean Taylor (who by the way got voted into the Pro Bowl and is the only NFL player to do so posthumously) so they are playing with a lot of emotion right now.

Personally, I think the Cowboys/Packers are the obvious teams to beat in the NFC but the Redskins by far are the most dangerous and could go all the way this year.

(You can't tell that I'm a die hard fan can you?)

What camera work? Mangini stopped anything 10 minutes into the first game of the season. So what camera work was there during the season? Do any of you realize it wasn't the filming of the sidelines that they were fined for but where they were filming the sidelines from that was the cause of all the issues? All the teams still have cameras in the stadiums, and they're all filming the other teams. They have been and always will. IMO it seemed to hurt everyone else a lot more than the Patriots. By imposing the highest fine possible the NFL made sure nobody else would even have a camera phone anywhere near the undesignated areas. Are the Pats really undefeated good? Probably not, but it sure seems like they benefitted from Mangini's move. Look at the teams that had good seasons last year that were complete flops this year. Either way the season was nice but the ring is all that matters. If they don't win it all, it's no better than last year. I was actually thinking if they lost Saturday they'd be more motivated for the playoffs. I think they'll face the Jags in the first game and that is the team that worries me the most. Del Rio has them built like a team from yesteryear. They just smash you in the head and then do it again and again. They've got a good running game and good O and D lines. I think Garrard is beatable and the passing game can be shut down but Jones-Drew is an awesome back that will need to be shut down to win. By the way all you Pats haters better keep that camera excuse in bubble wrap, you're gonna need it for the next few seasons and you don't want it getting all worn out. They're gonna be in the top of this division for at least the next 4 or 5 years. The Jets may actually finish last next season because of Parcells but the Fins won't be a playoff factor IMO for a couple of seasons unless they make an incredible signing or some other move. Parcells has that ability so I guess it's possible but very difficult. So it'll be deja vu for a few seasons, NE, Indi, San Diego, Dallas, will be perennial playoff teams for the near future. I'd love to see Green Bay and will have mixed feelings if they end up in the big game against the Pats. Favre has had an awesome season and plays the game the way it should be. Any way it will all be done in 6 weeks and we'll see who's left on top then.

I'm a Colts fan, so I hope the Pats lose in the playoffs, but I gotta give them their due,16-0 is quite a feat, and yes Brady broke Manning's TD record. They better watch out for Jacksonville though. I'm still saying Colts over the Cowboys in the Superbowl!!!!!

I really want to see a Pats choke and Brady crying by the playoffs end. He's my most despised QB ahead of Manning.

They won, they went undefeated, so I give them their due. They were marginally the better team last night. I won't even get on my high horse about giving Amani Toomer a personal foul for unneccesary roughness for watching a guy trip over a referee's foot while walking backwards after a great Giants kick return (ok, maybe I will get on it).

The Patriots are a very good team that showed that they are imminently beatable in the last part of the season.

They were lucky against the Eagles (8-8) on 11/25
They barely beat the Ravens (5-11), 24-27 on 12/3
They weren't impressive against the Jets (4-12) on 12/16, 20-10 game that was closer than that
They let my Giants who probably have played worse then their 10-6 record would indicate (and not the NFC's best team on paper by any means) nearly beat them in a game that didn't have any playoff indications

This is a team that could easily lose to almost any of the NFC teams.

If they even make it past the AFC (Jacksonville and San Diego would both give them a good game, not to mention the defending Superbowl Champs, the Colts), then I wouldn't mortgage my house to bet on them. They are a team that is tired, and has had to rely on a good bit of luck to win some of their games against much lesser teams. I know that great teams find a way to win, but they will be hard pressed to do it three more times against other good teams.

On the NFC side, Green Bay (who I think will be Phoenix bound this year), a healthy Cowboys, and maybe even the Bucs, could pull off the win. Heck, I'm realistic about my Giants being very unlikely to make an appearance here in February, but if they do... I like our chances as well.

As I am sure the 1972 Dolphins would tell them right now, their road to a truly perfect season just got started.

If it wasn't cause I don't realistically think an NFC team could take them,I'd wish for nothing more then for them to lose the Super Bowl, that would be the perfect ending,to choke in the end

But i really just hope they lose bad,Just one good hit to get him knocked the hell out .I don't wish him any harm though

If the Pats win the whole thing, love them or hate them, they might be considered the greatest NFL team in history.

    BUT...

If they lose, that 16-0 record in the regular season will mean NOTHING.
