I've got some vintage rock and punk shirts. Mostly from concerts-- Rush, KISS, Van Halen, etc-- Late 70's and 80's stuff. I wish they fit... LOL

I kind of collect them when I find them that is. I pick one or two up every now and then at thrift stores. Plus I have some when I was younger and going to concerts that I have kept over the years.

I am a HUGE band shirt collector.
I have way to many to post on here.
Classic Heavy Metal, Thrash, Death, Black, Doom is what I collect.
I did get rid of some though for some extra cash not to long ago but i still have plenty more.

Cool shirts, Bill. I never had many Sub Pop era shirts back in the day. I did have an Afghan Whigs shirt forever that Dulli gave me back in '89.

You have any interest in a DOA shirt from '90? Just pulled one at the thrift last week!

BTW, I saw Laughing Hyeanas open for Die Kreuzen in the fall of '88!

When I looked earlier the "Blood, Guts and *****" image was there and now it's gone. Hmmm kinda strange.
I've actually sold a couple of Sub Pop and related shirts on ebay in the last 30 days (sup pop loser, L7, original Nirvana, dinosaur Jr and maybe a few others).
I found Mudhoney "Superfuzz Bigmuff" on CD at Value Village on Saturday, turned my co-worker on to them driving around. The kids I work with even thought they were pretty decent. Pretty good taste for 12 year olds.
I met my wife when she ordered a Supersuckers CD from the record store I worked in (For Canadian folks- It was the last remaining "Sam the Record Man" in Canada.
Been listening to Afghan Whigs all week strangely enough, "Congregation" is one hell of an album. saw the Hyenas in early 90's on tour with Sonic Youth. Blew them out of the water. Sonic Youth one of the most disappointing live bands I ever saw.
And yeah, If ya wanna win, ya gotta bid!!

Oh and for the record, I dont think there was apicture of me taken between 1990 and 2000 that I wasnt wearing either a band or skate tee. However I only collect Swervedriver and Husker Du tee's these days. Most I've spent was around a hundred bucks for a Swervedriver "effects pedals" that i search for years to find after wearing out my original.

Belleville Ontario, and yeah It's still there but I really dont know how much longer it will last. I'd probably still be working there too if it werent for the owners son taking over the business.
I miss Younge Street in general. Back in the days with all the head shops. when it was just "seedy" but you didnt worry about getting shot.

Exactly, I hear you! I loved going into all those stores, buying weird CDs, t-shirts and posters. Like you say, seedy with the head and porn shops, but I didn't have to worry about getting accosted by homeless people or killed by a stray bullet. I've seen some nice vintage pics of the stores on Yonge St. back in the 70's and 80's and it brings a tear to my eye. It's almost not even worth taking a shopping trip there any more.

And too keep this thread on topic (sorry bill ), my first "punk rock" tee's were purchased there (on Younge). If I recall correctly they were $5- Buckwheat say otay, a Johnny Rotton t-shirt (worn in my grade 7 school photo, ill try to find a picture, my Mom was NOT impressed), a Sid Vicious tee, a Skinny Puppy tee (even though I didnt know who they were). I rteally liked the buckwheat t-shirt, dont know why I was convinced it was "punk" tho lol!!
