    Are you ready for 2012?

Now that the Christmas Holiday is winding down are you ready for the New Year to begin?

It is hard to believe that in just a couple of more days we are going to have to start writing 2012 as the date instead of 2011.

    Any new year resolutions?

I personally do not make any resolutions myself. That way I do not have to worry about keeping any.
Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009

        Sandy,

I sure hope that 2012 is much better for you than 2011 was.

Definitely a great resolution you offered above as well as great piece of advice.

Don't feel bad. Most people don't either as far as keeping them goes.

No resolutions to speak of but I am making some big changes.

                1. Career - mine has stalled out and is going nowhere fast. Fixing this before I become furniture or a fixture in a box.

                2. Health - got to get off my lazy posterior. TV has literally put 50 pounds on me. No camera tricks, real fat, real uncomfortable, remarkably depressing.

That pretty wraps up the changes I have planned for 2012. Being two years from 40 has really put things in perspective for me. I know I'm not getting younger and I refuse to go out like I am at the moment.

Wow! Jim, Looks like lots of changes ahead for you on the Horizon. Best of luck man!

I still say that any extra added weight is the TV camera fault and of course maybe an extra helping at Christmas did not help much either. Hey it is the holidays though people are supposed to be fat and jolly!

Man for me new resolutions are going back to college and finish up my degree.

                    Grow my business some more!

Need to lose a little weight and stay away from Dr.Pepper/Chinese food!

I guess the biggest thing for me next year is the birth of our second child thats on the way. She's ten weeks.

I just see it as another year. At this point in time,it doesn't become that big of a deal.

not looking forward to 2012. We are moving to MO and pretty much everything is up in the air concerning said move. Once it is all over with, life should be pretty good, but I am guessing the first six months or so are going to be pretty chaotic.

I just turned 40 yesterday and my wife let me go out with the guys for my birthday present on Friday. I drank way too much and and don't remember a lot of the night. I plan on trying to give up beer/wine/liquor for the first 6 months of the year. It was a fun night but I felt like garbage all Saturday...

It is always the day after that sucks! I never personally found any fun in it. I gave it up many moons ago by choice.

One of my last drinks was a mind eraser. That was the name of the drink. It pretty much lived up to the name to. I did not remember anything from the night before.

That and mixing Goldenshlager with Firewater was definitely not a good mix. It makes me never want to drink alcohol again. I am almost getting a bit queasy still thinking about it. Blah!! If all else fails you may want to try that remedy. LOL!!

Congrats and best wishes on your resolution.
