Coolest Toy of the Year - Swimming Fish!!!

It is a pain in the butt to put together, but once you got that, it is a blast. My daughter had to pry the remote out of my hands

Wow, that looks like a fish shaped blimp! Your daughter sure seems to be enjoying it. Does it fly by itself, or does it have wires?

I would definitely get a Creature of the black lagoon like that. Then I would fly him around the Monster Cafe! That would be great to surprise guests with!

A FB friend of mine posted the exact same clown fish but didn't explain how it worked. Sounds like a big hit.

i had posted the link from the site that showed the full assembly in another thread. Helium filled mylar balloon, tail wagger assembly provides motive power,, rudder fins provide stability. R/C gives you directional movement control.

We love ours. The kids named him Darwin. I love how lazily he swims around, and I was really surprised at his size. I guess it needs all of that boyuancy to keep the mechanism aloft.

Check out the one my friend made from scratch:
                        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlnBfKQ-AlY

It even has a webcam installed into it to see where you're going from up in the sky. My friend piloted it into the convention's cosplay ladies dressing room (), but it was empty at the time....
