I read this earlier today and really couldn't put the right words together. figured I would come back later and be able to articulate better. However, that is not the case.

Simply put, I hope karma kicks them in their arse. (wow, that came out way more PG than I originally thought).

It's never a good thing to have someone invade your life & property like that. The fact that it happened at this time of year, makes the crime more personal and upsetting.

...and that's the main thing...an invasion upon your well being...not the actual material thing (although that still hurts as well).

What if you surprise the thief?

That could lead into an explosive scenario...either the thief gets hurt...or you get hurt...or both...and that's the thing that infuriates me the most.

That's the way I've been wrestling with this one too. You are such a sweet and pure soul HG the thought of someone having hurt you like this just make me want to go all medieval on their asses. I hope they get ran over by reindeer.

You guys really need to make guns legal.

Of course it doesn't stop crime, but I think they do deter it in some cases - a big one being home invasion.

It was a Springfield Collection Gina doll (cheap version of American Girl).
