Colts win two in a row?

Unbelievable win against the Texans. Perhaps they don't want that first round pick afterall.

^^^ Absolutely! That roughing the passer call against the Texans at the end was just ridiculous. But the Colts got some bad calls on the Texans last drive too, so I guess that makes it a wash. That Colt QB showed a lot of poise. What could have been had he started sooner!

Houston is gonna cost me in my fantasy league. Thought I'd have a nice total with their defense.

I'd be ****ed if I were a Colts fan...if they lose that #1 pick to the Rams it'll be 10 years or more before they ever sniff another franchise QB to replace Manning.

I'm ****ed the Seahawks are beating all these garbage teams to now sit at 7-7 and the 16th pick. Either make the playoffs for sure or suck for sure and get a top 5 pick.

No way they'd take him anyway...they've invested too much into Bradford...they'd trade it away for multiple picks, to hopefully Miami

I don't think he meant that the Rams would take Bradford; the Rams would surely trade Luck to the highest bidder. I could see the Redskins going all out for him...even more so than Miami. We have no QB to speak of and a lot of salary cap money. The Redskins could have taken Blaine Gabbert last year if they wanted but thankfully they didn't and went with Ryan Kerrigan instead who has had a phenomenal rookie season. I don't think Shannahan is going to mess around this year in the draft.

I'm not so sure they would. Especially if they do some house cleaning after the season which has been rumored. I could see them taking Luck and trading Bradford if they think Luck is better. I can also see the Vikings taking him even though they also took a QB in the first round of the last draft. Things are getting interesting now that's for sure.

Forgot to add that I could definitely see the Redskins making a play for him too.

Bradford is a very good QB and is being paid a ton of money. They want a receiver and could pick the top prospect where the Redskins are sitting. It will be interesting to watch the Redskins/Vikings game this weekend and see if the Redskins play half heartedly to give the Rams the #1 pick. I do think the Colts are going all out now to win so there is no QB controversy. They will keep Manning and no longer think about the what if's...

Kinda bittersweet win for a Colts fan. I have mixed feelings for sure. JAX will lay down in the final game and the Colts will win 3 for sure. Honestly though, I was impressed with Orlovsky. I've thought all along they should have benched Painter earlier(he won't be back) and played Orlovsky. He had some great pinpoint throws last night and has the size and arm strength. Maybe he could become a solid enough QB that the Colt's could concentrate on their other issues - weak secondary, offensive line, need a run stopper, etc. We'll see what happens.

One thing I would like to say, is that a lot of people said the fix was in early in the season and the Colts were losing on purpose to get Luck. Wrong! The Colts played hard all season, it just took them a while to get things going( shoulda benched Painter earlier). The players are gonna play and let other people worry about the draft. I respect them for that - and can tell you the fans never waivered in their support this year. Lucas Oil stadium was packed every game. There's a lot of pride in Indy.

Naw believe it or not Ponder to seems to be a good QB, they need way too many pieces to go all out on a QB

That's what I thought D. But I regularly listen to Hub Arkush, who is the owner and editor of Pro Football Weekly, and he said not to rule out the Rams (due to possible changes at HC and GM) or the Vikings taking Luck if they have the number 1 pick. Hub is on the Score which is our local sports radio station (670 AM) and he always seems to have some good insider info so that was why I mentioned it.

It will be very interesting to see what happens. Trading for the number 1 overall pick requires a lot to be given up in return. Maybe not so much if the team is only trading up a few spots from numbers 2-4 but lower then that and it could get pricey.

yea anything could happen, but if that happens I hope Miami gets Bradford I could live with that
