What classic salty snack was this ?

Just had a flashback of a salty snack I used to like ...

It was like potato chips but they were kind of waffle cut (not sure if it was potatos)

They were orange color and were kind of spicey (usual for back in the day)

Anybody know what i'm talking about ?

    It was like the 70's

    Chex Mix?
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Was it two "waffle chips" sandwiching a dollop of processed cheese stuff (cheez) between?

        How about this?

            Chippos?
That's the first thought that came to me; I loved them as a kid growing up in the 70s. I recall them coming in a box, with two foil packs of chips in each box. They were waffle-textured and delicious! Tried to find info on them with a google search, only found vague references with no pics.
