    Casting Call: Doron Ofir Casting and 495 Productions, behind MTV's Jersey Shore, are looking for passionate, self-identified pop culture fanatics obsessed with comics, graphic novels, sci-fi, anime, manga, video games, toys, movies and television. The project is an experimental documentary series titled Fandom Rising that will take a deep look at the lives and relationships of people who love fantasy, fiction, comics, gaming, science and more.       I have absolutely no interest whatsoever on being famous...I love my privacy...I would hate for people to come up to me and say, "Hey, I saw you on TV!" God...that would annoy me to no end...

        Well S.O.B... I was literally hashing out a pitch for a show just like this for 2012, hoping to break out of my small market funk... I swear there is a camera planted in my head plugged into some master control room somewhere. One day I swear I will get in front of the bull.

          From the "masterminds" behind Jersey Shore seems a little much.

          I might actually be tempted to submit an application, but their questions suggest they are looking for people well younger than me (and most here) who are single. I worry the geek stuff is just a backdrop for another reality show of people hooking up.
