I like Entenmanns. I'm sure they're terrible for you, but sometimes they're fun to tear into. I like the Cream cheese coffecake things. Our grocery store doesn't carry Entenmanns, so I only get em when I travel, which is probably a good thing.
"Steel-like jaws clacked away, each bite slashing flesh from my body - I used my knife and my hands, and when they were gone, my bloody stumps - and yet the turtles came."
I miss Entenmann's. When I lived in NYC as a kid, we always had something Entenmann's in the house. My mom was partial to the coffee cake.

Totally not familiar with them at all. Anything like crispy creme?
They are a variety of boxed baked goods like donuts, cake, coffee cake that is based on the East Coast, I think. I remember this Coconut frosted cake w/ lemon filling!

Entenmann's is available here in the Bay Area as well, Sharry.
Really? I've never seen them. Oh well, bad for the waist line anyway.

P.S. The name "Bimbo" has no specific meaning in Spanish; thus, the name has not caused significant uproar as it would in the United States, where the word "bimbo" has a negative connotation. The official theory believes that the name Bimbo, coined in 1945 when the company was rebranded from its previous name, Super Pan S.A., is the mixing of the words "bingo" and "Bambi". In addition, the innocent, childlike name went well with the brand image they wanted to build.
