That is cool! I've never seen that either.

As an aside, it's incredible how something random - like cool picture of clouds - can cause such heated debates. I wanna just shrug it off and say something like "that's the crazy internets for you" - but for some reason it's hard for me to not be confused and concerned.

Pretty cool. The explanation is pretty thorough though. We live in a panicky, paranoid world. Move on.

Very nice picture. Anyone see video of that large dust storm in Nevada awhile back? (at least i think it was Nevada.) It literally covered the sky for miles. Would have hated to be in the middle of that...

Wow, those are some cool looking clouds. Never have seen anything like it.

Those are so cool! I vaguely remember seeing something similar to them when I was about 10 years old on a trip in Florida.

They just go to show you that Hollywood special effects STILL have nothing on God or Mother Nature when it comes to putting on a show!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Sometimes I think things like this happen to remind us what a beautiful and dynamic world we live in. A world we often ignore.

Nature is often deadly, but it's also pretty awesome. Rock on, nature!
