I think Johnny Knox had his back broken yesterday. It was a horrible injury and he is getting back surgery today. Thankfully he wasn't paralyzed. And the Bears just continue to add to the injury list. Once their last remaining starting safety (Conte, who is a rookie but better then the rest of the garbage they have) left with an injury the Seahawks started torching the secondary. But as I said before once Cutler went down they were toast anyway. Hopefully this will be enough to send their crummy GM Jerry Angablow packing. His poor drafting has killed this team for years now and once the injuries started piling up it came back to bite him. It's a shame too because they were doing well up to the point they lost Jay.

Huge props to Hub Arkush. He is the publisher and editor of Pro Football Weekly and a regular on our local sports radio 670 AM, The Score. For a number of weeks has been telling callers that he thought the team that would break the Packers winning streak would be the Chiefs. I really enjoy listening to Hub as he knows the NFL well and proved that once again. He also said he thought the Chargers would win this week then win out and take the division. The guy knows football.
and yet Devin says that Donavon could'nt help the team...I disagree, they should've picked him up

And I respect him for recognizing and playing within his own limitations. But as time passes, that will have to change. Otherwise he will become one dimensional and teams will pick him off where he does throw.
I agree with you that he has to develop, no argument here. It's not his fault though he was picked in the first round, when he should been a 3rd rounder. He works hard and he is improving in each game I think. Denver was not picked to a playoff team this year, so it's not like he has a huge amount of talent around him either. I'm not a band Wagon guy, I just a Gator fan and have watched him real close for a long time and like him.

...and what's worse...a new proposed stadium is indeed in the works...but get this...it's going to be in Santa Clara...a 40-minute drive from San Francisco...heck...the stadium will actually be closer to San Jose...might as well call them the San Jose 49ers from then on...

No, but Turner is paid to help Rivers correct those interceptions, no?

Turner's time has come and gone. The Chargers need to move away from the Turner era and hire a coach with some "moxie."

So anybody still think the Niners are overrated?

They are just manhandling the rough and tough Steelers like ragdolls right now...the 49ers are for real, folks...

P.S. And since many don't buy my excuses for the Raiders missing a lot of key players...I don't wanna hear how hurt Big Ben is/was...lol.

Nah. If the Giants can play in NJ and be called the NY Giants, there's no reason the 49ers can't do the same.
