sweet, beats the hell out of the character breakfast I just did at Disney world's Ohana at the palanisian resort...$20+ per person for cheap scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage and waffles what a rip, but my son was happy after he saw Mickey so I guess it was worth it

but that place sounds really good

From my understanding, they go mostly based on what their viewers tell them to.

I'm almost embarrassed by how many restaurants I've been to that have been featured in Man Vs Food, but then I realized that I went to them all before they were featured on the show.

I also went to one of Anthony Bourdain's featured eateries in his No Reservations San Francisco episode...he went to one of Oakland food trucks called Tamales mi Lupita...I went there...and found it to be terribly overrated...there's a bunch of other taco truck that would blow that one outta the water...damn Bourdain...he was lying his butt off on this one...lol...

The footage starts at around the 5:10 minute mark...

It was expensive, Mike...even for Northern Californian standards...lol.

                      Awesome!

I really loved their food...just a tad on the pricey side...no...I'm not a cheapskate (lol)...but for breakfast fare...it is a tad pricey.

I will still go...food is delicious...just not on a regular basis.

Perhaps I'll try the brunch fare next time...that would justify going there...they got some good stuff on the menu...I'd love to try that shrimp/grit dish of theirs...seems like it's one of their signature dishes.

With ten miles of home, we have two bar/restaurants out here,..both literally in the middle of nowhere. Only one offers breakfast, but they have a platter-sized breakfast burrito and something called "The Mess". These meals are $5.99 and large enough for two, even three people. In fact, they are split so often, that there is a small fee for an extra plate.

Both items are just fabulous! However, there is a trade off; Your dining companions will be the local farmers, milk truck drivers, construction workers, and a table of ROMEOs (really old men eating out).

Now I did it; I may have go out for breakfast!

Ohhhh Falafel's Drive-In... I used to live about five blocks from that place just on the other side of Steven's Creek. So I been there a bunch. So very good.

Man Vs. Food and Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives have been in Minneapolis a bunch, and I've somehow managed to hit a ton of the places they feature.

I lived about a block and a half from Al's Breakfast in college, and I was there all the time back in the day. That place rules.

Also been to Psycho Suzy's, Modern Cafe, Colossal Cafe, Bryant Lake Bowl, Emily's Lebanese, go to Kramarczuk's qute a lot (LOVE that place)... Also been to Matt's for a Jucy Lucy as well as Brasa (SUPER good; brasa is one of our favorites) and Gastof Zur Gemutlechkeit. That last bunch was more Man vs. Food than DDD, but anyway...
