O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree, how many versions are there?

I've been watch a lot of Christmas specials lately, and a lot of them all seem to have a different version of "O Christmas Tree". How did you learn to sing this classic?
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

We used to sing O Tannenbaum in school

Now that I think about it it seems kind of weird teaching a whole bunch of mostly Polish kids how to sing O Christmas Tree in German

What was that all about ?

I cant remember the words unless I hear it.
So it probably changes every time i hear it on tv.
I remember this song from a play back in elementary school. There was intermissions with song.

        Short answer......too many.

I like the Charlie Brown version with no words.

The State Song of Maryland is "Maryland, My Maryland" and set to the tune of "O, Tannenbaum". They used to play the song all the time when I was attending University of Maryland but it just kept reminding me of a Christmas song.

I have at least 10-20 different tracks of "O Tannenbaum" by various artists and agree that Vince Guaraldi's is the best in my opinion. Actually, the entire Charlie Brown Christmas Album is the best around. I never get sick of them.
