    John Lennon-31 Years Ago Today

The day the music died. I remember it so well and what a sad time it was in my life.

My first real introduction to John Lennon was "The John Lennon Collection" when I was 12. Every tune on that album grabbed me. To this day this is still one of my all time favorite / must haves in the collection of albums. Such a shame he had to go out in such a horrible manner by a completely pathetic whack job.

God bless you John wherever you are.

I had just installed my new stereo in my 72 Osman's. Turned it on and first thing I heard was that John had been shot and killed. Put a damper on my excitement that day.
Too many toys. Not enough space!

one of the most tragic days of the 20th century...IMHO. such a senseless thing. Chapman deserves to rot in Attica until he dies

While listening to a Yoko Ono record. Non stop. Extremely loud.

Talent like his is rare and he was taken away so quickly. Theres no telling where he would have went artistically as the new decade progressed.
