Gots to love the sneak peeks... I get 3-4 of these a year (sometimes free sometimes not), and I go almost every time. It's just neat, and even if the movie stinks it's fun to give my opinion. I also participate in every phone survey they throw at me... I just love going to the movies...

      You should go John...

      -Dave

I responded and this is what they are screening: A George Lucas Film! D'oH!

George Lucas, who has created some of the most electrifying aerial battles in movie history, is now bringing to life the stirring tale of the courageous black pilots of the Tuskegee program, unsung heroes who were our country’s last hope against a seemingly unbeatable enemy.

PREVIEW FREE MOVIES Invites you and your family to a private screening of the upcoming feature film:

The Tuskegee Airmen was a great movie

Why would Lucas rip it off ?

Perhaps to try to make up for all the folks he offended with Jar Jar and the other Gungan's?

It would be interesting to see from the standpoint of "I wonder how far they've come with CGI dogfights?"

I'll be curious to hear your thoughts on it John if you go.

I remember first reading about the Red Tails movie in an old issue of the Lucasfilm Fanclub magazine from the late 80s or early 90s.
Back then, I think they said the movie was scheduled for something like a 1993 release.

                  Better late than never!

There's a trailer on line, for those interested. Director Anthony Hemingway is mostly a TV guy - he's worked on a lot of great shows though, including "The Wire".
