Our season is toast as it is....this just adds insult to injury. The only positive takeaway is that Shannahan can actually try to win but will still lose and move us up in the draft order.

Hoping Peyton Manning heals up and places the Colts in the unenviable decision of having to choose between one of the best NFL quarterbacks of all time or go for Andrew Luck who many are claiming is the best quarterback to come out of college since Peyton Manning. Hopefully, the Redskins will be in a good position to make a trade for one or the other.

Manning's old, why wouldn't the Colts want to get his replacement lined up?

It's pretty rare for a player these days to stay with a team for their entire NFL career. I presume Manning is a fan favorite in Indy so probably some backlash if he is cut loose especially since he is one of the best QB's ever. Even though Luck is being touted as the best QB to come out of the draft in a decade...he still hasn't proven himself in the NFL. Also, I suspect Luck will not go to a team and not be a starter. Either way, it places another team desperate for a QB like the Redskins in a good position to grab either a top notch veteran or try to trade for Luck. If Manning is healthy and the Colts decide to go with Luck; I do think the Redskins will try to grab Manning.

Not saying cut Manning, let Luck work under him a bit till he decides to hang it up. Seriously, how many more seasons does Manning have left in him?

Be thankful you guys didn't get saddled with "The Dream Team". The only thing worse than Eagles fans are....Phillies fans.

That would be a great scenario for the Colts but I really don't think Luck will want to come in and not start. He still has a year of college eligibility and could pull that card out if he doesn't like his draft prospects.

The best story by far this year is the potential of the Packers to go undefeated. They have four game left against inferior opponents, but anything can happen...

Raiders - If Carson palmer overthrows yet another receiver and the ball hits Rodgers in the head and concusses him then maybe.

Chiefs - If the Packers score 105 points, then the scoreboard will read Chiefs 06, Packers 05.

Bears - Inter-conference games can be tough to predict. Thankfully Aaron Rodgers vs. Caleb Hanie games are easy to predict.

Lions - Detroit will be playing for it's playoff life in order to slip into the wild card to ultimately get stomped by the Packers again.
