Sorry to hear that dude!!!
I can relate we do the same thing here for every holiday and stuff used to go missing all the time.As for the big blow ups I now bolt them down with different headed bolts. Some stuff I made concrete bases to bolt into...LOL
They will not steal our stuff again.Last year I put a six pack of bottles outside near some of the decorations. In the morning it was gone. The joke is I peed in three of the bottles. My property they had to come onto it to take it.Yes it was gone in the morning...LOL“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”Comment

it's funny cause stuff like this makes me wanna put some sort of bait for them....and when I think of that 2 stories come to mind
1-my friend in high school was always getting his fog lamps stolen, he decided one day that it was enough(after like 4 pairs) he put blades under them, needless to say we get out of school and there was blood all over the car and under it..they never stole it again
2- sorry to say this, but it was on my own friend...he use to always like hitting this poor old guys garbage can into the street with his car..and the poor old dude would have to go buy a new trash can and always pick up the trash..it use to really upset me when he did that..but one day the joke was one him, the old man filled it up with concrete and my friends precious z-28 was toast..although the dude did get in trouble and had to pay for my friends car repair..it was funny as hell to see my friends car destroyed and he had stitches all over his face"Time to nut up or shut up"-Tallahassee

Man, that is awful! Might have been teens. I remember back in my college days, me and a buddy were home on break and went out one night. When we got back to his parent's house at 1 am, someone had TP'd the whole house & lawn. My friend noticed movement under his mom's car, so he got his bat and sat on the car and started talking to the kid under there. A bunch of high school kids had just finished their deed when we pulled up and this one kid got left behind. At the crack of dawn, my friend let the kid out from under the car and then made him clean the whole house & yard up.It's all good!Comment

I am real sorry that your Christmas decorations were stolen. I do hope whom ever took thEm has a change of heart and returns them to you. I hope you can bring back your sons joy in some way.
Please, dont get me wrong with this, and in no way does it justify the thieft, but has anyone here thought that just perhaps the person who stole them, has kids, and just perhaps, took them because, cant afford to get his/her kids something for the holidays, and just wanted to bring a smile to the kids? I am not saying that that was the case, but just perhaps. its something to think about.Comment

The better thing for that "scenario" father would've been to knock on Damien's door with his entire family...and explain his dire situation...perhaps Damien would've donated something...it sure beats him stealing his stuff.
I'm saying that because that kinda happened to me...not at my door...but in the streets...and entire family with kids begging for money...that really saddened me...so I handed them a $20 bill...perhaps that was not a lot...but you should've seen how their eyes lit up...they were really appreciative...and I'm sure lots of other people handed them either money, toys, or even food.
Just don't steal from other people...that's one of the lowest of the low...no matter what the reasons.Last edited by Hector; Dec 3, '11, 3:59 AM.sigpicComment

When I moved to a new house I moved the mailbox there in front of a telephone pole. While my neighbors lost theirs I never had a problem.Too many toys. Not enough space!Comment
