Sadly it was probably someone in your neighborhood. I would guess kids. I might have taken a pumpkin or two when I was a kid. Teens do a lot of stupid things."Steel-like jaws clacked away, each bite slashing flesh from my body - I used my knife and my hands, and when they were gone, my bloody stumps - and yet the turtles came."Comment

Emergency Mini Mego Meet in Miami! We will all stake out your place.
Sorry it happened man. Don't let it ruin your Holidays!Comment

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you can still have a nice holiday. You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment

Sorry to hear that, D. I caught a guy trying to break into my car one time-- needless to say, instead of a car stereo, he a got a free trip to the hospital. I shudder to think what you would have done to the thief had you caught the scum bag...

I feel for you D. My son was recently robbed. My wife and I went on a trip for the weekend and our son stayed over at our house to be with our daughter. When we got back we found out his roommate had "left the door unlocked" at their apartment and someone took his PS3, Xbox 360, watch, clothes, all his video games and some cash he had hidden. Circumstances led me to believe that the roommate actually took all of the stuff and not some fictitious thief. Seeing my 19 year old son in tears over losing most of his valuables made me want to beat the crap out of the roommate, for leaving the door open, if nothing else. Now that I am sure it was him, I really have to calm myself or I will end up in jail. The feeling of being violated like that is pretty bad and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.Comment

Every year, here in Ghent, they put up a giant christmas tree, full of ornaments, in the city center.
The next couple of days, all ornaments up to a height of about 8 feet get stolen. And when you know that the ornaments for this tree are huge (it has 18" balls), you have to ask yourself: what the **** are they going to do with those things?
I can see a guy thinking: "You know what would really make my Christmas this year? A set of 18 inch balls!!!!".
